Final due printed as well as uploaded as a Packaged zip file on 10am Nov 13th. Read project details. Main points are: Use both text and image, use Indesign to page layout, include at least one PSD with layers & masks and at least one AI- both fully your own creation. Must include a call to action. Must try something NEW- by finding a tutorial. (You will teach this to everyone else in class as a short demo.) Must be at least 8 pages. Must be printed- at least once for me to keep.
By the way, we have two long arm staplers and a corner cutter and fancy corner cutter.
Here are the instructions for our laser printer HP laserjet.
( you can load the different kinds of laser paper too, in the white drawers next to our printer)
OR use the Printer in the main office– which is actually nicer quality ink and cheaper and an easier process! Just you can’t really do colored paper because it is so busy in there and it is only open 9-4pm
For inspiration, I suggest you check out publishers such as POGOBOOKS, Café Royal, BOLO, and Nieves, all of whom are doing a great job navigating zine lovers through the sea of boring stuff flooding the internet, and plucking out only the very best for your enjoyment.
